how do i join your concierge practice?

Prospective patients are offered a 30 minute complimentary meeting with Dr. Qamar at his Summerlin office, or via video if more convenient. During this time you see the office, meet some of the staff, and have a private discussion with Dr. Q regarding any questions you may have. Options to join are offered after the visit if the practice believes it can be of service. Enrollment is limited based on availability.

How much are your concierge medicine fees?

We only charge for adults, with discounts for couples and no charges for household children under 21 years.

Membership fees can be paid monthly, quarterly, or annually. There are no termination fees, and patients can cancel at any time.

Additional fees apply for house calls, care after hours, or other services not in the agreement.

Fees are disclosed after your complimentary introductory meeting with Dr. Q with no obligation to join.

do you OFFER COSMETIC PROCEDURES OR SUPPLEMENTS?

We keep our focus on medical care, using the extra time to research the science behind your conditions and coordinating care with specialists as needed. Because we are dedicated to primary care medicine, we have decided not to engage in cosmetic procedures or sell supplements.

IS YOUR PRACTICE PART OF A NATIONAL CHAIN?

Our concierge practice is privately owned and independent. This means patients deal directly with the practice for all clinical, administrative, and membership issues, not remotely-located representatives who aren’t familiar with the Las Vegas healthcare climate or the particulars of your case. National concierge medical networks have their place, but we believe in a super-personalized approach.

WHAT IF I NEED CARE OUTSIDE LAS VEGAS?

Dr. Q has active medical licenses in 23 states and can coordinate care with patients nationwide. Many of our patients have out-of-state homes and travel for vacation and business frequently. In addition, Dr. Q speaks multiple languages and can assist with care internationally as needed.

do you bill insurance for visits?

Membership covers non-medical services that aren’t covered by insurance companies. Depending on your insurance, the practice may bill your insurance for medical services rendered. Medicare and insurance companies will not reimburse membership fees as the fees are for non-medical services.

are membership fees covered by insurance or medicare?

Membership fees are not covered by insurance or Medicare. Certain self-insured entities or corporations may cover membership fees as a healthcare perk. Please check with your insurance carrier or employer to see if concierge medicine membership fees are a covered benefit.

DOes Dr. Q PRACTICE in OR ADMIT to HOSPITALS?

By design, we are strictly an outpatient practice. Patients in the hospital are taken care of by our hospitalist specialist colleagues, which we can help coordinate. Once discharged, patients are attended to aggressively to ensure stability after leaving the hospital.
